Lockers on the third floor of building 203 will be changed. The current lockers are outdated, resembling those from high school gyms. They will be replaced with double stack lockers, allowing more employees to securely store their personal items.
I'm not certain who manages the locker distribution, and the Agency is also unsure. After discussing with Stephen Ruggirello and Mystyc Metrik, we decided employees should submit a Leaf request to access the lockers, which we think is a good approach.
There will be an email and signs posted on the lockers for anyone using them to clear out their items. This notice will allow those employees 14 days to remove their belongings. Once the new lockers are set up, they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
While AFGE is a larger union, we are not the only organization involved. NEFFE is in talks with ELT, and if they agree, we will receive new double stack lockers. In the meantime, please look for the notice if you are using one of those lockers.
